FT: WALES 1 - 0 CZECH REPUBLIC. Match thread

Tuesday 30th March, ko 7:45. Cardiff City Stadium.
Live on Sky Sports and S4C
Match Officials:
Referee: Ovidiu Haţegan
Assistants: Radu Ghinguleac and Sebastian Gheorghe
Fourth Official: Radu Petrescu
Defender James Lawrence has been cleared to link up with Wales, meaning he is available to feature.
However, the hosts will be without Joe Allen who suffered a muscle injury in the opening stages of the 3-1 loss to Belgium last week.
Ben Davies, Aaron Ramsey and Tom Lockyer have all withdrawn from the squad.
Kieffer Moore has a heel problem, although he is available to feature in what is Wales' second qualifier of the year.
The Red Dragons have no other injury concerns following their clashes with Belgium and Mexico.
Hal Robson-Kanu, Rabbi Matondo and Tyler Roberts have been released from the Welsh camp after breaching FAW protocol.

Don’t like the team or formation. Playing five defenders when we need the win......
Would have preferred 4-2-3-1 with Hennessey in goal instead of Ward. Two fullbacks in Roberts and Williams and Rodon and preferably Chester at centre back.
Then Ampadu and Smith in front of the back four with Bale and James down the flanks with Wilson sitting behind Moore.
I cannot believe Moore isn’t starting again. Really poor.

For me it's the fact that Cabango gets overlooked in favour of Mepham and Lawrence. The former always vulnerable of a costly mistake or two during the game.
Rest of the team seem pretty good choices on paper, and with regards to Moore, it was publicised that he had a knock so was always against it to feature in the starting 11.

Agreed about Cabango but if Moore got the knock in the friendly then we really are messing things up.

Not seen the team, is it the same side that played Belgium with Morrell in for Allen?

Agreed with comments made so far,
1 - Cabango should be in ahead of Lawrence, simply a better player
2 - Moore injured by playing in a pointless friendly, when it is common knowledge he is fatigued at the moment.
3 - Hennessey looked better/ more solid than Ward
4 - Decision not to take Vaulks looks even poorer with the Injury to Allen.
All points raised leads me to conclude we currently have a very poor leadership structure in place.
Hope to be proved wrong, and think the side picked still has more than enough quality to win this match.

international football just doesn't do it and the sooner we're back to the league the better. We're an oddball side of limited ability and always struggle.

Not great. It was a negative selection in yhe first place overly reliant on just three players being able to create and score.

So we are at home playing against ten men and still playing five at the back. FFS Moore needs to come in for Lawrence.
