Old Splott pub, been out with ‘err indoors’ tonight talking shit n stuff, and we couldn’t remember the boozer we frequented often when we lived at 112 moorland road, opposite the fleurs, there was a like triangular island and the pub was on a corner anybody remember the name ?

I used to work at the nearby ASW (GKN) steelworks. I always remember calling in the Grosvenor after a 2-10pm shift for a quick pint, before getting the works' bus home. It prompted me to look online to see if it was still there (yeah, I knowOriginally posted by tforturton View Post

The local councillor says there is only one pub in the area, and that article dates back to 2010!

The only one I can think of is The Cottage, on Sanquahar Street. There's also the Clifton, and the Royal Oak, but do they count?
Loads have disappeared around that area.Comment

7 Years i lived in Splott, Not sure I went in the Tred, always looked a bit rough for meOriginally posted by splott parker View Post but played darts for the Carlillion (spelling) club on Splott road bridge.
