Thanks. I first met him bout 45yrs ago near the flats in Braunton Crescent. Never seen him since , but always remembered him. Some character .

I used to live in Braunton Ave.Last seen him about 5 yrs ago in the Canton Cross he was going a Madness tribute band in Barry.

Remember being in the City ground (Nottingham) It kicked off, I (As a fifteen year old) was crapping myself after being hit in the head by a battery or small stone, don't worry son he said, we'll ****ing do them after the game, seconds later he was hit with a half house brick and stretchered off past the Trent end on a stretcher, giving the forest fans the V's as he was carried past :) RIP Pongo

I started going away with the City in '76. In those days it could be a bit lairy.

I do remember a guy called 'Peg' who wore callipers (has to be the same person, surely?).
However, I thought there was some tragic ending to his life (if it's the same person?), whereby he took his own life along with his kids
