Last day of league 2 today kick off 12.30
Leyton orient and stevenage already promoted.
Northampton currently in 3rd (away to tranmere) just 2 points above Stockport 4th (home to already relegated hartlepool) set to be most intriguing battle.
Could be 2nd year running the cobblers drop out of the top 3 on the last day after Bristol Rovers controversially beat scunthorpe under 16s 7 0 on the last day last season to turn around the goal difference- with the help of a tactical pitch invasion at Bristol allowing them to know how many they needed after they had news the cobblers won their game 3 1.
Hartlepool and Rochdale already relegated.

Yes, not much to be sorted out, but the last play off spot is, just about, still up for grabs between Bradford and Mansfield - Bradford are three points ahead with a two goal advantage in goal difference, but with Mansfield having scored ten more goals, defeat for Bradford in their home game with Champions Leyton Orient and victory for Mansfield at Colchester would see the latter make it through.

I left the play offs out as was struggling to work it out! However Stockport definitely in.
Carlisle and Salford 99.9% in but could in theory still miss out also?

Re our nearest neighbours newport county in 15th after last seasons 11th. Seem fairly settled in that level now.
Welsh club football pretty close to its natural level now. Cardiff and Swansea both in championship. Wrexham and Newport league 2. That's pretty much the natural order of things? Perhaps wrexham would argue they are league 1 in the natural order of things (which they will be season after next).

I noticed this morning that a draw today at home to Crewe would give County an identical home record to City's:
City: Won 6, Drew 7, Lost 10
County: Won 6, Drew 6, Lost 10

Isn't there only a 4 goal swing required for Salford to drop out?

Where automatic promotion or relegation is concerned, not much last day drama around in any of the divisions. The exception may be the Premier League relegation scrap

Had Reading not had that points deduction then it would have been one hell of a scrap in the Championship today - Reading, Huddersfield & QPR on 50 points, ourselves and Rotherham on 49. Wouldn't have been comfortable viewing at Turf Moor
Re: Last day of league 2 today kick off 12.30
The officiating in League 1 ,2 and below is is average at best. Tranmere should have been awarded two penalties.
General time wasting and gamesmanship against the bigger teams is noticeable too.
Re: Last day of league 2 today kick off 12.30
The poor sods who watch Newport County home games are really suffering this season - they’ve just gone a goal down to Crewe and, if they lose this one, they’ll end the season with a worse home record than us
Re: Last day of league 2 today kick off 12.30
Already relegated Hartlepool equalised at Stockport......

Have we played the same teams then? Well, I never.
We both are nowhere near as good at home as TNS.

Mansfield miss out by 1 single goal. Must be annoying- lucky that's never happened to us......

Assuming all results had gone the same way, yes. Can't speak for other teams but I'd like to think we would have put a bit more effort in against Huddersfield if we hadn't been safe

Neither were penalties for me though I am a tough judge to convince whereas sky sports would have 3 per match
The time wasting was atrocious with injury feigning throughout
