Would be good if the club also discouraged that YJB Hymns and Arias song too. It does nothing for the team on the pitch I’m sure.

I seriously doubt it. If there's a minute's silence/applause for these two I've no doubt that, despite the vitriol and abuse both sets of supporters will hurl at each other afterwards, it will be respected by both sets of fans. Club's getting a teeny bit precious IMHO..Quote:

The Supporters Club, Supporters Trust, Police reps at the meeting were all of the same opinion that it was unacceptable and distasteful. The Trust emailed its members and got a 100% response that said it was unacceptable and that view was fed back to the club. I know that some club officials personally are of the opinion that the chant is abhorrent but the Club itself has not, to my knowledge, taken a public position on the subject.
