Was this is a penalty ? think it is . remember refs have been 85% correct so far this season !

You can see him rolling his shoulders , it's an unnatural movement

If you get tripped it's an instinctive fall

I missed the shirt pull, not quite enough to pull him down to the ground, so deffo looking for the pen, but yes, he did pull his shirt, yes its a pen

I think feck him , he was trying to gain an advantage , if he had fell without egging it he would probably have got the pen

Commentator on Radio Wales thought it should have been a pelanty kick, Ratcliffe thought not.

Agree he did get his shirt tugged slightly but, the question is, was it enough to go down and get a pelanty?
I don't think so personally and we have seen this decision from referee's, quite rightly IMO, a few times recently.

The striker could have brushed that off and scored.

"should of..." instead of "should have..."

That's how I see it. Whenever I see a contentious decision that goes for or against us, I tend to think how I'd feel if it happened to the opposite side. If, for example, we get a dodgy penalty, how would I feel if we had conceded one like that?

If that had happened to us at the CCS, where one of our players had had their shirt pulled, even if the fall was a little theatrical, I'd have been raging had we not had a penalty and I suspect most of us would have felt the same.

If the referee blew up every time a shirt got pulled there wouldn't be much football at all on show.

This was one of those arbitrary decisions, some will be given, some won't.
Has always been that way and always will be.
