I thought it was a bit disappointing

Chuck up the tour dates BM
Re: Liam Gallagher and John Squire new music / tour
Squire like Gallagher a very derivative guitarist but on second coming I thought Jimmy Page had been given a line of speed and woken up from his 30 year slumber
Great album that

Yeah there is some good guitar on that album, would have liked to have seen them exploring a heavier sound
Re: Liam Gallagher and John Squire new music / tour
I like the instrumental from John Squire but Liam Gallagher's lyrics are awful. And i say that as a big Oasis fan. Why is he singing about rainbows? What's that all about? He's a middle aged man singing about rainbows lol
It's dissapointing, i hope the next single is better
Re: Liam Gallagher and John Squire new music / tour
Heavy Roses , Heavy Smiths , Heavy Cure , Heavy Banshees
I can shake my head to that alongside sabbath

Not many weekend gigs either only 2 - Leeds and Dublin. Thats a shame.
I like the Olympia in Dublin. Went there to see Weller years ago. Old fashioned two tier theatre style venue.

Agreed, very good🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
Re: Liam Gallagher and John Squire new music / tour
Although not groundbreaking, I like the sound on this.
A mixture of Beatles circa '66, The Who and Kula Shaker

Saw Massive Attack there in the 90’s.
Great venue.

Me too. I thought Squires managed to mix Stone Roses/Second Coming and even Hendrix-esque guitar to great effect. However, Liam's vocals are WAY too high in the mix. It suited Oasis, but it doesn't suit this. And the Second Coming/Be Here Now length of the song is too much.

'Just Anothe Rainbow' feels like a song which wouldn't have made the cut to 'Second Coming'.
'Mars to Liverpool' may have for the 'Do It Yourself' thing Squire did for the Seahorses.
Nobody is going to be reaching for these go listen to in 6 weeks time.
I'm a miserable cuunt.

Because the lyrics are truly awful, at one point Liam Gallagher decides to name, through song, all the individual colours of the rainbow. What is that all about? He's a grown man ffs

He (Liam Gallagher) could still be learning them?
