Football has become totally bizarre. You could pump £trillions into the top teams and they'll still end up in massive debt as salaries and transfer fees rich frightening levels. I'd hoped the EFL would at least keep out of this but next season's changes show they're on the way to financial 'riches'. Also the PL is now trying to end the 3pm 'blackout'. The peoples' game eh !!

So what you're advocating is a form of market Socialism in football. Or is it that you just can't stand a working class lad who is at the top of his profession getting what the market dictates? Because I don't see you complaining about Big Business creaming off loads of profit at the expense of others.

Yes indeed, they’re going to end the 3pm blackout so more people can watch football if they want to. Doing so won’t stop any people from attending games if they so desire. But some people may prefer to stay at home and watch games on TV. It is, after all, the people’s game.

Yes, like there really isn't enough football on TV for people to watch now. You could probably watch it for 12 hours every day of the year if you desired. There's even a choice of 2 or 3 games most of the time. So let's put on PL and EFL football at 3pm and 4pm, because there really isn't enough..
