Wow! There's a bronze age Hill Fort up that way as well, I think. If they keep digging they're likely to find one of Bluetits old Flagon bottles amongst the Artifacts.

I think it’s a thing of the past

Dont knock archaeology- its making a comeback.
Think the site has been featured on Alice Roberts' tv programme in the past, and over the last few weeks there've been opportunities for volunteers to have a dig aswell. (an opportunity that some on this thread seem to have taken up themselves).
