Willock and Chambers feel like good signings, not sure selling McGuinness is good business though. Greaves of Hull has just been sold to Ipswich for £15 million, possibly rising to £18 million - I accept he’s a better player than McGuinness, but is he £10 to £12 million worse than him? £5 million for a 23 year old centre back who has been a first team regular at Championship level for two and a half seasons and was perhaps the best player in a successful League One side for half a season.
We’re still going to get a decent centre back in if we sell McGuinness aren’t we? We were short of a centreback before we signed Chambers.
Hopefully the McGuinness rumours are twitter nonsense.
We need to retain him and Ng unless we get silly bids.
Perhaps it's Hull that have made a move for McGuinness. Makes sense.
Perhaps the club haven't had any takers for Ng so are touting around the next most saleable asset
