Re: Cardiff City begin work on long-awaited training ground
Those endurance cars look good. Sorry, but that's one of the worst artist's impressions/architects illustrations I've seen since Windows 95.

Colwill has to turn up 60 minutes after everyone else.

Re: Cardiff City begin work on long-awaited training ground
So they are going to start training? I’ll look forward to the improvement on the pitch.

At the risk of sounding like a little bitch, the negative threads about the club get pages of comments :frown:

In fairness, the new training ground was one of the rebrand benefits promised to supporters by Vincent Tan back in May 2012.
It's September 2024.
I appreciate it's good news. In reality, it's also very old news.

People taking the piss out of the Artwork, and another saying something sarcastic about the team training. That's two posts, and not particularly damning. You went too early Delm👍

It’s the kind of artwork you’d expect to see on a fridge.

so have you! I'm not saying people are being negative on this thread, I'm remarking that the negative threads get a lot of posts and this one has very few

What I like about this thread is the title is very well thought out and it’s the attention to grammatical detail like the proper use of a hyphen.

Not many league 1 clubs will have facilities this good!

Re: Cardiff City begin work on long-awaited training ground
Is it true that the pitches are only one half long, so we can practice defence vs defence?

Okay, I'm going to play devil's advocate here.
Why are we building this? Why is the club spending a lot of money building another version of something that we already have? What's wrong with the facilities we currently share with the FAW? Wouldn't the money be better spent bringing in quality players?

I think similar to be honest, wouldn't it be better to invest in the new Llanrumney site? Keep everything together. Or at least use that when the one we share with Wales can't be used?

Or is it a cunning plan to over inflate what the cost of the new facilities are, maybe it’s a legitimate expense to spend on such things, freeing up more money to bring in the multi million pound players Bulut has in mind?

Is it a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasle?

The second photo looks like an episode of Time Team.
