Re: DERBY COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I might be miles off but think this is our most winnable game so far this season.
We're away from home for a start and buluts unadaptible football suits being away from home.
It's must get a point game if he wants to stave off more fan unrest.

Re: DERBY COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I think as long as he doesn't start Kanga even full on Bulutball should be able to get us a point.
Their squad has to be bottom 6 material.

Re: DERBY COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
El Ghazi, Robinson and Colwill all to start please, lose this one and Bulut is in huge trouble.
Horvath
Ng
Chambers
Daland
O'Dowda
Robertson
Siopis
Colwill
Willock
Robinson
El Ghazi
We win if that's the team.

I'd swap Goutas for Chambers purely for set plays. I don't rate either but see nothing in Chambers.
Ralls for Siopis.
Alnwick for Horvarth.

I look at that front 3 and think that could cause some damage when they're on song.
When I see Meite and Kanga on the team sheet I imagine the opposition defenders having a spliff and chilling before the game.

That would be ok if we weren’t bottom 1 material.

Re: DERBY COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Derby have won their last 9 (nine) home games in a row (8 league, 1 cup).
We are not guaranteed anything from this fixture. And they have six ex Cardiff players in their squad.

Yes they've had a couple of good wins at home already.
I think we should have a lottery for which ex City player will score against us. Think my money would be on Curtis Nelson. We're so poor at defending st pieces.

Not sure I fancy that team at all.
Ramsey will start and Collins is fit so ODOWDA might be pushed forward.

The combination of Bulut , his tactics and the team he selects is probably the worst in the league. Maybe significantly. We could be this seasons Rotherham.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing
Rohan Luthra
Ebou Adams
Curtis Nelson
Nat Philips
Who have I forgotten?

I reckon there's only 1 of those 6 players I'd have back here (Mendez-Laing). It says much for our squad that a team with several City rejects in is doing better than us.

Mendez at his best definitely.
Nelson needed replacing if were to progressunfortunately we've lost McGuiness. I'd take Nelson over Chambers and Goutas.
Phillips is miles better than Goutas and Chambers.
Collins is a L1 player but far better than Kanga.

Nelson hat trick from corners I reckon. He will go on to score only 2 goals the rest of his career.

Derby have scored the most goals from set pieces this season in the Championship so far. Cardiff City have the joint 3rd worst record at conceding from set pieces.
Sounds like Saturday's game will be an exciting festival of good football.....

Re: DERBY COUNTY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I think we will face 3 ex City. Adams, Nelson and NML. My money still on Nelson to score.
Think it will be a long afternoon. Can't see anything but a comfortable Derby win.

Ramsey out will Erol be forced into Colwill + Robertson?

This could end up being a blessing in disguise.

More likely to be Robertson at the 10 and Rinomhota with Siopis.
