RIP Maurice Swan

I’ve some bad news to pass on to you guys
Unfortunately after a sudden illness Graham ( Maurice Swan) passed away on the 5th of October
I spoke with him last month and he told me he’d been diagnosed with Leukaemia and was in and out of hospital
He hadn’t returned my emails or calls for several weeks and his wife Nina passed on the sad news this morning.
He was a lifelong Bluebird hailing from the Rhondda and had a great life
He was in his seventies when he met and married her and raised a young family all over again settling in France.
He was taken too soon

Very sad. He was part of the CCMB family and will be missed.

Very sad news RIP Bluebird

Was only wondering about him last week because he hadn’t posted on here for a while.

Was always grateful to him for his offer of help when the blog was struggling a few years ago.

I remember that he was calling for the youngsters to be given a chance - he would have loved to have seen the likes of Colwill, Tanner and Robertson playing like that on Saturday.
