Have the rules changed again?
Was there a reason why just before half time, the Norwich player who was down injured and the trainer came on to treat didn’t leave the field? It seemed so obvious that he had to go off but the ref and his assistants, just allowed him to stay on, when the game restarted.
I’m genuinely interested as to whether, not for the first time I don’t know the rules!
Re: Have the rules changed again?
I couldn't understand it but noticed none of our players say anything so it must be something I'm missing
Re: Have the rules changed again?
If there’s a yellow card don’t think the player has to go off, don’t remember the incident but was that when Rino was booked?

Correct.

Off-Field Treatment Rule
This only applies when a player is on the ground for 15 seconds or longer but is not required in situations involving serious medical events, goalkeeper injuries, potential head injuries or the initiation of a yellow or red card after a foul is given.
Re: Have the rules changed again?
Similarly, has the rule on handballs changed after what looked to be the most blatant one I've ever seen in the 2nd half?
Re: Have the rules changed again?
Not a new rule. It was introduced at the start of the 2016/17 season, but, for some reason, it's rarely adhered to in the domestic leagues. You see it more often in internationals.
