I came across an old South Wales Echo (City related)
Clearing out some old stuff in the spare room, I discovered an edition of the Echo, 2013.
What surprised me most was how I had this in my possession. I have lived in China since 2006 and hadn't gone home during 2013. I can only assume my sister must have sent it to me along with some other correspondence that she routinely sends.
They had devoted both the front & back pages, as well as two further pages inside, to Malky Makay's sacking.
It seems like different times but the same old problem

Oopss!
I'm not sure why it is upside-down. It wasn't like that on my computer.

well, I'm having a 'mare' with posting these pics. Again, this was normal on my PC.
Sorry, you'll just have to crane your necks! :hehe:

When I was away in College in the early 80’s my mum would post me a copy of the Pink Echo and the sports pages from Monday’s Echo so I could read about Cardiff City. It would arrive on the Thursday and was the only way I got to read any news about City. How things have changed in the last 20 years! I’ve still kept some old Echos in the loft with my programmes - my kids have already told me they’re dumping all my “ treasures” when I’m gone :hehe:

My wifes mother dumped (sold that is) all her memorabilia including several signed David Beckham Real Madrid and England shirts.
Claims she must have just chucked them all out when she was cleaning up one day. She’s a very sharp lady. No way she chucked out that stuff.
Personally idgaf about Beckham but I doubt her mother got any where near what a collector would have paid

I have a lot of time for your wife's mother.
