So you want some nostalgia - try this!
Attachment 6340
When I was a lot lot younger I sometimes worked for my Dad who was a freelance press photographer in Cardiff.
This was a pic I took at NP and the skill was to try and capture good action and if possible a goal. This picture was probably published in either the Sunday Express or News of the World the following day and the £££ helped put fuel in my car.
Some of you here will be able to answer these questions so have a go.
1. Who is the City player scoring the goal?
2. Who are the opponents?
3. Can you name any of the opposition players?
4. Which season was this?
I'll put up the answers later.
Looking forward to tonight's game and hope we win please!

A great photo and thanks for posting. I was there.
1 Peter Sayer (in 87th minute)
2 Wolves
3 Goalie was Gary Pierce. Defender looks like Derek Parkin
4 1976-77 (9 April)
Game ended 2-2. Wolves were 2 up before Sayer scored in 87 minutes and Paul Went in 90th. Kenny Hibbit scored Wolves's second.

Well done! Great effort.
1,2,4 correct. 9th April 1977.
Wolves keeper Gary Pierce and defender Frank Munro. I only know 'cos I wrote the caption on the day with the help of the program.

I've found a few more pics of another game which I'll post again.

Still looks more like Derek Parkin to me - both played in the game. Parkin was 3 and Munro 5. Shame no numbers on the front of shirts then.
