Like when TLG took a hiatus…things weren’t the same here and I was really happy to see him posting again.
It’s an analogy rather than a comparison as I wouldn’t want to upset either of them by comparing them…they are both foundation stones of this small community though and something of a comfort blanket in a rapidly changing world.
Back to Sludge, I have my disagreements with his unwavering steadfastness in his views.
To see him not return again though would be saddening. I’d happily take a leathering for it to happen.

He made a contribution to a City podcast I watched about ten days ago calling for a disciplinarian manager who’d get us knocking it long.
I like Sludge, he's self-deprecating. It's a character trait I like.
I think he needed a break whether self enforced or a ban tbh.
