Think of understood for the player’s first name.

The Tommy Smith one is bugging me. Knowing you, it's probably something to do with Admiral Muskwe but I can't get it.

No, it's a sensible question with a sensible answer or at least I think it is - some might see it as pretty obscure mind.

Tommy Smith… most handsomest man to play for both clubs?

Is it anything to do with 2 of the Watford players being sent off in our home match with them

No, it’s about goal scoring.

Is he the only Watford player to score for three different managers in the same season?

Dunno, he might well be, but this is City related - I'll be posting the answer on the blog shortly.

Gutted. There were a couple of City connections there too, he scored against us that season (as you say in the answer) and Malky was one of the managers. Mind you, with all the chopping and changing they've done in the last few years there are probably Watford players who've scored for five managers in a season now.
The Watford wiki page for that season is funny. They've listed all the results with the intention of giving both teams' scorers, times of the goals and attendance figures but having done that for the shorter cups section underneath there's a half hearted attempt at the first five league games before giving up the ghost completely. Someone's obviously thought 'f**k this, I'm going down the pub'. We've all been there.

Definitely looks like someone decided they couldn’t be arsed doesn’t it.
I would have bet almost anything that Brendan Rodgers was their manager that night.

He was, yes. Malky just had a month's caretaker stint in November before taking over from Rodgers permanently at the end of the season.
