She epitomised the Sixties didn't she. She came to fame with "As tears go by". This is the classic recording of her interview with Brian Epstein - she seems so young and innocent there, how that all changed after getting involved with Jagger et al!!! I'm amazed she got to 78 (I didn't realise she was my age until I read the announcement tonight).

I can't agree with the Jagger statement. He co-wrote 'As tears go by' so Jagger couldn't have been after it.

Really was something in her day. Sadly she got involved with the likes of Jagger et al and that was her downfall. RIP Marianne.
