Hull City have won each of their last three away league games against Cardiff City, and will be looking to win four in succession for the first time in the EFL.

Louie Barry's a doubt for Hull.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
Annoyingly, Hull have a pretty decent away record. The 8th best in the division.
And we have the 2nd worst home record in the division.

Come on Jimmy, you've missed a trick there.

Enough of your crazed positivity.
Whatever happened to negative and miserable?
Cardiff can't defend (even when we have defenders available on two legs with a pulse). Hull are on a high.
It has to be a 1 -3 loss and a melt down! Doesn't it.......?

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
I dont get the happy with a point talk.
We have to start winning. It's a team on the same amount of points as us and we are at home.
Let's attack Salech Ashford Alves Colwill possibly Ramsey and hopefully Robinson as an option as well.
Straight at them positively from the off.
We really need a win and if we play on the front foot we should get all 3.

Keep your stubs everybody, you'll need them after we beat Villa

My brother-in-law has kept all Hull ticket stubs over the last decade, home and away. You just never know...

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
I wonder if we will go back to 4 at the back or persist with the 3

My guess is that will depend on who is available - not a decision about the best formation to beat Hull.
There is every chance that all the back three (and the goalkeeper) from the Plymouth game will be out.
Alnwick, Bagan and possibly Ng injured and Goutas suspended.
Maybe Daland and Chambers will be back, maybe not.

I thought Riza said Daland was out for 2 weeks, might be wrong

Have we got 4 defenders available to play a back 4?

We might have to go with a back 2... or one

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
Not making a guesx at our team. Could be anything.
We certainly need a performance as Hull are doing very well away.
Not a must win game, but a win would go a long way to ensuring our survival.
I think, hope Hull are due a poor performance.
2-1 Cardiff

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
Listening to the CCFC phone in earlier, someone mentioned Horvath broke his finger in the warm up on Saturday. It doesn’t rain it pours.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v HULL CITY. Match thread
Horvarth was on bench for the game. If he'd been In jured in warm up wouldn't he have been replaced by Turner?

Calm down. This is a CCFC message board. Everyone will be happy with 0-0 and playing the under 5s at Villa.

Is it standard practice to take a third keeper to away games and can you add/remove players from a gameday squad that late? Genuinely no idea on both counts.

Always one missing who we never thought would be. No Alves.
