Footage Of Rotherham Riots
I am not going to post a link but about 2 hours of footage close up to the " protestors " can be seen on you tube
The level of violence towards the hotel where refugees were staying and to the police protecting the area was appalling
And it was definitely racially motivated despite what some reform apologists try to say
You just have to listen to the continual use of racist abuse and general xenophobic garbage linked to the violence to see that a large proportion of those protesting were hell bent on creating fear and the heavy prison sentences were perfectly justified
It's not easy viewing

Threatening violence in a group is under the riot and violent disorder legislation
If you get convicted of that .....by the courts , not starmer ...its legislation brought in by the conservatives under Thatcher.....you are looking at prison
It doesn't matter if you chanted something , threw something , hit someone .....if you are in a group of more than a few people .....in this case several hundred....then you are guilty of riot or violent disorder
The MP was convicted of assault and again sentenced by a judge
Assault can be very nasty stuff but it generally leads to fines , being given suspended sentences or a lesser prison sentence than rioting or violent disorder
He appealed although I thought he deserved a short stretch .....3 months isn't a weekend on the piss .....and the courts not starmer overturned the sentence
It's no more complicated than that
The two brothers who I would imagine are going to be convicted regarding the Manchester airport police stuff are not in a group of several hundred people so will probably get a far lesser sentence than those rioting up north
They will probably be found guilty of assault , abh etc and I would imagine get 6 months
They won't get 2 years because although attacking a copper is a criminal act being part of a mob of 500 involved in violent disorder and attacking coppers and hotels etc or encouraging otgers to do so is seen as far more serious
That's the law , it's not starmers law

It's about time everybody got over this labour v conservative nonsense, it's a uniparty. They take it in turns to make everyone's life a misery, and the net result is you get the worst of the left and the right forever,

If someone threatens someone else in public on a demo etc it's the police who arrest them and the PP service that decide if charges are made or advise if any charges made are likely to stick
Once it goes to court it is the judge who sentences them
