Will the last person leaving Wales please turn off the lights ...
There will also be a knock-on effect in that it will affect the Bluestone resort and footfall in nearby Narberth.
Was gutted to see about this. We go quite regularly. Apart from peak season, ie six weeks holiday (and school trips near to that), it was always quiet. They’d actually invested a bit over the last couple of years although it still needed a lot more.
I doubt very much anyone would want to take it over as a theme park
I believe the family that founded bluestone also originally started Oakwood but sold it. It’d make sense that they would want to buy that land back.
Given they’ve started dismantling rides id think a deal is done on the land but that it won’t be sold to be used as a theme park
It's been shit for years, surprised it has lasted this long

Increased NI costs taking effect, second home triple council tax reducing tourists as landlords sell them on, when's the tourist tax coming to kill off the rest of the Welsh tourism industry?
It does take sometime these days particularly with the ongoing work on the A40 to make it quicker eventually, strange really, as there won’t be much open to go to by the looks of it. Cafes, pubs and restaurants only open on weekends, laundrettes and cleaning companies going bust, anyone lucky enough to offload there business before the influx of houses for sale was very fortunate….as soon as my long term tenant goes I’m just putting mine on auction…f*ck paying 3 x c tax.
