I can totally understand the positivity around the potential of going down to reset, with new owners, new direction, some ambition.
I don’t think it will be the reality though. I think Tan will stay, with just more slow and bad decisions, even less money, less players, worse attendances, maybe not worse managers because we already employ managers who won’t get employed anywhere else in the top 3 leagues.
More of the same, just worse. Are we going to spend five years there being apathetic about going down to league two because there’ll be a chance to reset?
Also for anyone who doesn’t remember, it’s a hard league to get out of
