If we’ve got ambitions of reaching the World Cup we shouldn’t really be concerned with these results of these sort of games.

Neither Lichtenstein or North Macedonia will be anywhere near winning the group and I’d be shocked if they were challenging for 2nd.

So it should be. Liechtenstein has a population of 40,000. That would be like Wales playing Wrexham if only people from Wrexham could play for them and we got first choice of the players.

That was 4 years ago. Germany pumped them in the return leg in Macedonia 6 months later.

If Wrexham was on the side of a massive mountain and barely had enough room for a proper stadium.

I had a coworker when I was in Zurich from Liechtenstein, I can't remember exactly the details but he had some very odd living arrangement because if he claimed residence at home he was able to dodge a bunch of taxes, despite the fact that almost everything in Liechtenstein uses Swiss infrastructure and services anyway.

It won’t be a walk in the park, but using a game from 4 years ago as a measure of how good they are is daft, especially when they lost 4-0 in the home leg a few months later.

4 years ago Italy were champions of Europe. 4 years on and they barely scraped their way out of the group and were comfortably beat in the Ro16 against Switzerland.
