Disappointed with the club
Here is an email I sent in to the club:
Hi folks
I understand that you are looking to do 125 supporter engagements this season and I wondered if you would consider visiting my father.
The family story with Cardiff City goes back to the early days, when his father sang in the choir at St John's Church, Canton. At the time (early 1900's), all the choirboys were given season tickets to Cardiff City. He went on to support the club at Wembley in 1927 and even had a drink out of the FA Cup when it was taken round the pubs of Cardiff!
My father was born in 1932, and followed Cardiff through the war years - I understand that one of the games he saw was the longest game played, as it was played until there was a result and neither team could score the winner. He left the game to go home for his tea, and when he returned to the ground, they were still playing. He went to many memorable matches including Moscow Dynamo, Real Madrid and the Hereford game. In the 1950's, he even went to away matches and in the 1970's he worked on the turnstiles and counted the match day cash.
He is now 92 years old and in failing health - he was diagnosed with dementia a couple of years ago. He is pretty much housebound, but I call every Sunday, and he can always remember the weekend's result.
If you were able to pay him a visit as part of this programme, I know it would make his day.
With best regards

Here is the reply I got:
Hi mate
There’s a project ongoing to create a CCFC museum. They’re looking to talk to fans about their memories.
Send me a DM and I’ll put you in touch. They’d love to talk to your father.

The Remembering the Past, Preserving the Future project, a heritage initiative by Cardiff City FC and Cardiff City FC Community Foundation, aims to collect, preserve, and showcase the club’s history. By gathering memorabilia, stories, and historical items from fans, staff, and the community, the project will create a physical and digital archive. This archive serves as a foundation for future exhibitions, with the ultimate vision of establishing a permanent Cardiff City FC Museum.

If you look at Henry's track record on this site, it's par for the course. I can't imagine it's very nice being him.
