Only if we start to win a few away games, can’t see us winning any at home what with form plus the atrocious home atmosphere must give well followed away teams a hell of a boost.

Not quite. Hull are a much bigger price than Oxford and Stoke, and yet they're a point behind both.
Hull are only one point in front of us, but they are 6/1 to go down while we're only 13/8.

Portsmouth and Oxfords home records wout certainly support this.
as would ours unfortunately.
the Wednesday away fans were pretty loud once they got going on the second half

The City certainly knew how to wake them up from their funereal first half atmosphere.

Re: Latest Championship Relegation Odds
QPR were well over 50/1 a few weeks ago, their odds will plummet on Saturday night if we win.

Re: Latest Championship Relegation Odds
For me, it’s Plymouth us and Oxford for the drop.

Re: Latest Championship Relegation Odds
we're kucfed, and the blame lies at the top with a crazy management setup.

Re: Latest Championship Relegation Odds
I'm afraid that Derby will gain a lot of confidence from a 2-0 win tonight. It's a nail in our coffin. They have 5 of their remaining games against sides in the bottom half of the table. We're looking unlikely to get much out of our next few games I fear.

Re: Latest Championship Relegation Odds
Only two teams in the Championship have won less than ten games - us and Plymouth.
Stating the obvious perhaps, but that's really poor.

Mmm. Looking bleak now.

Re: Latest Championship Relegation Odds
I still just can't see us going down and havent felt we will all season.
I must admit though, being back in the relegation zone and with tough games coming I am feeling the least confident I have for a long time at the moment.

If this was a bad squad it would still be underperforming.

No, it just means they're playing to their level. They're not very good, and we've seen that in each of the last 4 seasons.

I certainly don't think this is a good squad by Championship standards. However, I do believe the division is absolutely dreadful this season in terms of overall quality and I don't think City's squad is any worse than those at the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Millwall, Preston, QPR, Swansea, etc.
The biggest problem we have here is a poor management and coaching set-up, and consequently the team often looks disorganised and directionless. I've said from day one of his tenure that I don't believe Omer Riza should be anywhere near a management job in the Championship and I stand by that. The whole off-field set-up is a mess and the position the club finds itself in reflects that.
I genuinely believe the team has the potential to do a bit better. Not a lot better - this is not a good squad by any stretch of the imagination - but I don't think our side is any worse than some of those who are currently sitting comfortably clear of the relegation zone.

Rare but agreed
Except it should be quite a lot better.
