Our bizarre away form this season
We've taken the lead 11 times away from home this season, the 6th best record in the Championship. We've conceded 9 equalisers, the worst in the division.
We've failed to score away from home on only 6 occasions, the 3rd lowest in the Championship. We've kept 2 clean sheets away from home, the third worst in the division.
Yet we've conceded goals for the opposition to take the lead on 13 occasions, 12 sides have conceded more, and our 5 equalisers is decent (in number and by percentage).
If we'd had a better defence and hadn't thrown away so many points away from home, I reckon we'd be virtually safe by now.
Re: Our bizarre away form this season
I think I said something similar around the time of signing Salech. Many people were crying out for a striker/goalscorer yet our attacking stats were/are pretty good for where we are.

And if we had a better squad we may be challenging for promotion.
