Surely it takes training to be that God Awful - they must practice taking throw ins to the opposition. Making sure they hit the first defensive player on corners. Never getting to the byline and cutting it back and the half arsed press where 2-3 players amble around the top of the pitch leaving the midfield exposed where the opposition striker then drops off the static back line giving them a free run at a jelly strength back 4 is genius
That must be trained into them
I'd love one of those dreadful commentators who is trying too hard to express they 'know' the game (I think you know the ones I mean - the ones normally on last on MOTD) who keep on banging on about Low Blocks and number 6's and 8's overlapping as if it means anything - describe our 'low block'
Re: Any photos from this morning training
I think you'll find our version is the no-block
Re: Any photos from this morning training
Riza said they need to deal better with balls in the box.
Training should be almost impossible as our forwards can't get any balls into the box for the defenders to practise dealing with.

Our centre backs couldn't cope with the movement off the ball of the dustbins

He'll try them in defence, probably a back six, he's tried every other combination.
Re: Any photos from this morning training
I think he’ll try the mick trick of 5 centre backs, plus 2 full backs pretending to be wing backs plus 2 defensive midfielders and Isaac 80 yards ahead of them all pressing the entire sheff u team on his own

We weren't particularly far off that scenario at Preston, we seemed to be playing a back 7 at times with how deep Chambers & Mannsverk were playing, with Colwill 20 yards ahead of them and 20 yards behind the front 2

The old 7-1-2 set up. Genius!
