Can I respectfully ask that you amend the header, Boss?

Please don't.
We have got a much better chance against Seffield United than the club at Bramall Lane. We could even get a draw!

Re: SHEFFIELD UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Slightly off topic, be careful parking on Bessemer road, my car was broken into Saturday. Made a miserable day even worse.
Nothing taken just the damage to the window. Had to clear the glass away before me and my son could get in. A few minutes after driving off my son starts crying, some sick twat has only left two Sheffield united tickets on the back seat.

Jack fan down the road from me had his Swansea shirt on the line drying and some robber broke into his garden and pinched the pegs.

Late 90s and early 00s had 2 car stereos nicked during City matches whilst parked on Bessemer Road. Never left my car there again.
Leaving those tickets was beyond the pale.

A few extracts from Riza's press conference:
“Unfortunately, you have to go through these moments to become better and a better version of yourself. It’s a tough position, but I’m not shirking responsibility and I’m up for the challenge. That’s been since day one and it isn’t going to change right until the end."
-
“I think rather than forecast what’s going to happen, talking about whether they’ve lost their last three and now they should win their fourth because their manager is going to be on them, or whether we’ve not been able to win our last game and forecast that we are to lose against Sheffield United because they’re higher up in the table than us, I think the mindset is 'let’s see what happens'.
"Rather than go down the route of this could happen and that could happen, we have to be focused on believing we can win the game."
-
“Fitness-wise, we’ve lost Isaak Davies in training yesterday with a slight hamstring problem.
"Perry Ng has been out this week, I’m not sure yet when he’ll come back because he hadn’t trained all week, but did some light stuff today. Andy Rinomhota has trained today.
"Other than the long-term injuries, everyone else is available."

Isaak Davies has a hamstring injury? Surely some mistake!

Re: SHEFFIELD UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Put the ones who were on the bench for the stoke game is what i say, and if they don't turn up, put them on the bench for the next game and start the ones who were on the bench for the Sheffield United game. It's bound to come off at some point.

A very different edit by WOL from the club of the press conference. A few extracts:
"I don't want the fans to feel that we don't care and that we aren't bothered or that we are not fighting. It may look like that is the case, but it certainly isn't.
"In respect of the team, the players. We are all trying to work together to get the best team out on the pitch, whether they are fit or performing and getting the balance right to get the result we are looking for. We hadn't lost in four games but only the three points against Blackburn. We are disappointed and we feel pain and want to make it right."
-
"If there's going to be blame then it's got to be on me. I'm the manager of the team and I take full responsibility," he said.
"I know how important it is. It's a failure on my part if we go down. I have standards, goals, ideas about where I feel I can take this club.
"I have always been taught that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. It's only going to make me better, stronger. I read all the comments from fans and unfortunately a lot of them are clueless. That's what I've got to learn. To come away from that side of it, so I can stay focused.

:hehe:
Undoubtedly many of them are probably clueless Omer, but best to focus on yourself right now mate as some of your decisions have been baffling. Stop reading comments ffs.....after this one.

Re: SHEFFIELD UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
My advise to Riza would be to stop ploughing through fans’ comments and get on the training field to work out some way of getting his team to get the ball up the field and finding a player in a good enough position to find the net. Alternatively train his many defensive bodies to pick up a member of the opposition instead of somehow leaving them all free in our penalty area.

I doubt it. They might be a little nervous at first, or get edgy if (a moon-sized if) we can keep them out for a while. Are they even as attacking and pacey as Leeds? They didn't look that impressive at CCS. (Famous last words).

Sheffield’s biggest win this season was 3-0 against Oxford in November. Therefore, it’s unlikely they’ll batter us. But this is Cardiff City we’re talking about, so who knows?

Is kieffer playing?
If they use him correctly he should score 7 himself against our "defence".

This brief excerpt sums Riza up perfectly. A stupid cliche followed by a criticism of the supporters. Brilliant stuff. I’ve said from day one this fella should be nowhere near a job as a Championship manager. Here’s more proof of why.

Exactly, I’ve not been to watch us lately but I know people that still suffer who say the players do not care, they’ve given up. Call it 5-0

nonsense - we will show some fight and have the best chance of the first half to get our hopes up, before losing to 3 late goals.

Think there could be eleven goals in the game if he picks that team.
