Who is out of contract this summer?
Omer Riza, thankfully. But I can't find a list of City players who are out of contract at the end of the season. Does anyone know?
Pretty sure Collins, El Ghazi, Goutas, Meite, Rinomhota, Ramsey and Ralls are all out of contract in July.
Anyone else?
Re: Who is out of contract this summer?
Wales Online's January list of First Teamers whose contracts expire this summer was:
Callum Robinson, Callum O'Dowda, Dimitrios Goutas, Anwar El Ghazi, Yakou Miete, Isaak Davies, Kion Etete, Joe Ralls, Aaron Ramsey, Jamilu Collins, Andy Rinomhota and Jak Alnwick.
Since then Robinson, O'Dowda, Etete, Davies and Alnwick have signed new or extended contracts. So your list is right.
Not sure how many of the ex u21s on loan are at the end of their contracts.

The decision to award Etete a new contract looks like a definite mistake now. It looked odd at the time.
Regarding those who are out of contract:
Collins - goodbye
Goutas - thanks for your efforts and farewell
El Ghazi - don't let the door hit your arse
Meite - could probably do a job in League One, but I think he's had enough
Ralls - a fond farewell, too injury-prone for a new contract
Ramsey - no thanks, it would be idiotic to give him a new deal
Rinomhota - I'd definitely offer him a new deal on reduced terms if we were relegated
That's a fair chuck of money off the wage bill.
Re: Who is out of contract this summer?
I wonder who we will offload. Horvath and Daland are two I'd try to get off the wage bill
Re: Who is out of contract this summer?
Wage bill needs to be reduced so release them all.

losing those would probably be most of the way to covering the drop off in income due to relegation - if we're assuming £20k per week average ( which could be miles wrong admittedly) that comes to £7.2 million a year, which is about what we would lose in income for going down.
added to that, in an uncharacteristically prescient move, the club have said that some players have relegation clauses in their contracts, so the wage bill would reduce further
Re: Who is out of contract this summer?
I’m still struggling to see how both Salech and Robinson both play in the same team. With both on new contracts I can see Robinson being moved on.

Horvath has two years left to run on his contract, while Daland was given a four-year contract in August. Realistically, I can't see either moving on.
Thing is, with a proper management and coaching set-up in League One, players such as Daland and Turnbull might well improve, or at least be a lot more effective at the next level down.
The next managerial appointment will obviously be crucial whatever division we're in. If Tan and his cronies get that wrong yet again, it will be a struggle regardless of who is in the squad.

And this may be controversial, but apart from those who are out of contract, the first player I'd be looking to offload (hopefully for a fee of some sort) would be Rubin Colwill. For his sake and ours.

I would just not consider who is out of contract out of the players, hopefully backroom staff are ripped up and we totally start a fresh at all levels within the club.
There again with our owner , he is probably extending their contracts.

If we stayed up I'd agree.
If we go down absolutely no way!!
He will do ok in league 1 and give us some good moments.
Plus I've got a good feeling about colwill and colwill together in league 1 next season!
Re: Who is out of contract this summer?
Horvath might be tempted back to the MLS and a Scandinavian club might coming in for Daland. I wouldn't necessarily want a fee for either

City signed Daland on a four-year deal for a fee reported to be around £3.5 million. No way in the world will the club release him or sell him for peanuts in the summer.
