The more you think about this situation, the funnier it becomes.
In recent weeks, the club has apparently sounded out Dick Advocaat (77) and Neil Warnock (76) - two of the most experienced managers in the world of football. Instead, Tan and Co have ended up putting 34 year-old Aaron Ramsey in charge - a guy who has never managed a game of football in his life. And who knows - that might even prove to be the most sensible option.
On Facebook last night I saw a screenshot from SkyBet's Request-A-Bet service. It read:
"Can you please give me the odds on Aaron Ramsey getting injured in the technical area during Monday's Championship game between Cardiff City and Oxford United."
:hehe: :hehe: :hehe:
To promote Ramsey at this point i would suggest that the owning management team have already accepted the clubs fate of relegation and that it's pretty pointless rushing in for someone and a minimum one years contract, during the off season maybe some managers will be come available but inevitably will be managers who have been given the Spanish archer by their respective clubs because they have done poorly or have been relegated, I've seen on here when the position becomes available "he wont come here because """""""
I do think that when managers are out of a job that as football is a drug to them, they will jump at almost any position to get back in, and I'm not talking talking about established premier league managers but those around the periphery of the championship for most of their careers, I'd like to see the club place an add in something like the Times and take it from there, the formula that has been used previously hasn't worked has it? Tuerto has suggested that some of this squad could be coached into better players with better quality coaches/managers, whilst i do not see the games pitch side I have probably seen in excess of 90% of the games this season, i really do think that this squad is fkin awful which has been reflected in why the squad is currently fighting for championship survival, I have seen in industry good managers mentor some staff underneath them into better trades persons, engineers etc. as well as bad managers destroy good people into leaving the company and thus i would certainly agree with Tuerto that many of these players could perform better in the right environment.
Just give the job to Tuerto.🤣
Maybe some of the players would be more effective with better players around them but sadly we have no, what I would call stand-out players - those who raise the games of others around them. Even the decent teams in and around the play offs have average players, trouble is, the club keeps bringing just average [or below average] players.
my guess is they've offered 'Ramsey & Co' a little staying up bonus as an incentive to make some magic happen, I have no idea why they would take on such an uphill task which could be damaging to their future prospects otherwise..
