There was never enough room in this world for two people in positions of such authority. Pope Francis did the right thing.

Probably his last act was to send his deputy in to give Vance a lecture about having compassion - that's a decent way to go out.

Re: Pope Francis. Sic Transit Gloria Mundi
One hell of a publicity stunt if he reappears in a view days time.

Re: Pope Francis. Sic Transit Gloria Mundi
Pretty agnostic nowadays but haven't always been, and being a member of the St. Illtyds club where being bent over by a brother for a smack on the arse, Religion was a part of growing up, personally i think that this particular Pope has been the worst pope in my lifetime, I did go the Easter Sunday mass at St. Peters square in 2010 and it would have been Pope Benedict. As a catholic I'm a little dissapointed that i never made the effort to go and see Pope John Paul II at Ninian park in 1982 and I'm not sure why, i used to work away from home around 8 months at the time during the 80's and it may have been i was elsewhere. I tend to think that Religion comforts generally older people who might not get to socialise, (say because their partner is no longer with them) it connects them with those in a similar position but not forgetting that many are true believers and its a way of life, life goes on, it's CCMB tradition to knock out a bit of "banter" when someone of this stature dies, Insider's "Rambo gets the managers job and this happens" wins easily thus far.

The Pontiff probably had to pay a tariff to see Vance. And paid via Papal.

Not too far off with this, I saw John Paul as the last peoples Pontiff whereas those who have followed installed by dark forces, it's not the politics board and will say no more on this. You would have loved our Adult only hotel in Majorca, full of walking sticks, Zimmers and chairs, she would just look at me and say don't take the piss, that's you in 5 years and I'm not fkin pushing you!!!

TBF i weighed on the morning of the holiday not saying :hehe: and weighed the 1st morning back, exactly same weight, i never drank a pint, had a few half's, shed load of G & T, vodka and Brandy and went conservative at brekkie time only one sausage, one rasher of bacon and no toast and marmalade, for tea never had one piece of Cake which is my guilty sin, pleased with no weight gain but 1stone 6llbs is the 1st target, I've just had 30 mins cutting wet grass and feel like ive gone 12 rounds with Tyson I'm not in good shape at the moment but when i go all in, I got all in, i lost 5.5 stone when i did it before but was packing 18.5 back then i got down to 13 but went on a chocolate bender in Dubai because i spent weeks trying to crack the 13 stone and couldn't do it even though i was starving myself and exercising like F.

Last time i saw you, you were looking lean. I'm like that, all or nothing, it's a catho;ic thing i reckon......Guilt........ :hehe: When i need to shed i just drop carbs, go below 20 grams a day for a month, and exercise on top. Not ideal, but it works. I'm a ****er for crisps, my biggest weakness, i can do a 6 pack in 10 minutes.

Most non believers like myself couldn’t give a rats arse. Just another old fat guy in a white robe, wallowing in riches whilst lots of his followers live in poverty.
