Turning to Wrexham anyone ?
With Wrexham looking as though they could be swapping places with us, anyone else think it may be worth looking at a few of their players ?
I assume if they do go up they will be strengthening again, and not all of their current squad will get new contracts.
The ones that don’t will have experience of getting out of League 1. Same goes for Brum.

Re: Turning to Wrexham anyone ?
Maybe but this is grim, like a bad dream

Re: Turning to Wrexham anyone ?
Absolutely not
Assuming e go down we should be building for the longer term, playing younger players - developing a football philosophy etc
Not signing a bunch of 35 year olds from Wrexham

Yes one of the only positives I can really come up is that it should force us to use more of the younger players we have, some decent ones coming through as well.
We do though also need some leaders, stronger personalities, that usually comes with older more experienced players.

Croeso Y Cardiff, my new webinar set to launch on Paramout+ next month. A fly-on-the-wall documentary including close up of the workings of the club's recruitment team under Patrick Deboys, and live feed to Malaysia where Vincent Tan sits up in the middle of the night drinking cocoa and watching the game[s].

You know they're not all 35 year-olds, right? Not by a long shot.

Re: Turning to Wrexham anyone ?
It will be a hell of a shock for them going from the atmosphere they experience at wrexham games home and away to come to cardiff!

Re: Turning to Wrexham anyone ?
I’d rather a decent group of age >33yr olds than a below average group of 20-25 year olds

Re: Turning to Wrexham anyone ?
I’ve watched bits of some of the Wrexham games and rarely been impressed with them to be honest. Clearly doing well but no one stood out.

Re: Turning to Wrexham anyone ?
Is there any Wrexham player who would improve us currently?

If we played Wrexham tomorrow, how confident would you be of beating them ?

Same here, but, unlike us, they grind out wins when playing poorly.

Re: Turning to Wrexham anyone ?

Re: Turning to Wrexham anyone ?
~Ive been watching the "Welcome to Wrexham" docu series. Very interesting
When the yanks invested, the first thing they did was admit they knew F all about football, so they hired someone who did to run the club.
Remind you of what didn't happen when Tan took over?

Yeah it's unfair the way people just think they've got the 3 promotions back to back from splashing the cash. Yes of course an element to it but as much about the very serious appointments they've made off the pitch. Success was inevitable.

Do they have any defenders who can defend? Midfielders who can be relied on in a battle? If so, they have players who would improve us currently. Although that wasn’t the thrust of the opening post anyway.

Fixed.
All this negativity for a club that was basically done and finished. It's a success story. All this crying because our millionaire doesn't know how to employ football people.

Paul Mullin used to be 28. Now he is 30. Soon he will be 31

Not really sure what point you’re making, doesn’t seem relevant to the original question?
Like I’ve said what I’ve seen of Wrexham this season I’ve not been impressed, I’ve seen bits but it’s still an excellent season. Doesn’t mean I think we would go and get their off casts.

he's also only scored 3 goals in league one.
he'd be well down the pecking order here.
