6 teams battling for title on final day
3 points separate the top 6 in National League South with just 1 game to go. Should be quite an afternoon for them.

I’d imagine Gateshead aren’t rubbing their hands in glee either.

I went to watch Truro play a pre-season friendly against Plymouth whilst on holiday a few years ago.
Best chant was " You dirty northern bastads"

Forest Green use that chant whenever they play Cheltenham!
If FGR stay don't get promoted and Truro do then I'll look forward to their local derby.

They'll probably just get a return charter flight from Newquay to Newcastle.
Otherwise it's an 8 hour coach trip.

Looks like Truro are going to win it, they’re 4-1 up at half time - Torquay are winning 2-0.

By 2 goals in the end. 3 points separated the top 6.
In the NLN Hereford lost & dropped from 5th to 10th after being in a play-off position for most of 2025

Final table for the North Division.

Shame about Hereford, last time I looked they seemed to be cents for a Play Off place. Kidderminster would have been Champions if they’d won, but they were beaten at lowly Southport.

Remember Luke Jephcott who looked like a Wales regular in the making when he was scoring goals for Plymouth as a teenager? He was at Newport last time I looked, but I just watched highlights of Truro’s win on Saturday and was surprised to see him scoring their first goal.
Turns out it’s his second loan spell at Truro.

When I went to see FGR a few weeks ago a certain clutch of youthful supporters were rolling out the usual chant that "The referee's a w*nker" but an announcement was made over the tannoy sytem that the barracking was sexist and the Police would get involved if it persisted.
The referee was female.
