Now I've posted this, our chances of a miraculous escape in these last two games will have substantially increased.
From memory, there were less than 4,000 there that day Richard. Less than a year later, we were getting a combined crowd of close to 60,000 for our last two home games (I won’t mention the gates for the Welsh Cup Finals:hehe:) We’re much better placed than when we went down in 75, 82 and 85 and made it straight back up on the first two occasions - we can do it again this time if Tan sees sense (big if mind).
Re: 50 Years Ago Today....
The crowd was apparently 6,300. 1974/75 was my first season. Bolton were 10th in the table. As are West Brom.

Don’t take the same route or wear the same clothes Dave!
Re: 50 Years Ago Today....
'Twas merely yesterday that we all joyfully watched Anderson, Evans, Alston et al in 75/76.
No matter what happened later, I really liked the way Jimmy Andrews set us up that season. Oh for someone like him to have a clear plan and an understanding of how to carry it out.

A few more, but shows how our support had dropped off in the space of 3 seasons.
Looks like we would have gone down even had we won as Bristol Rover drew
