Annoyance / Grievance

Whatever you want to call it, I hate this trend in football at the moment and it seems very few managers will break compliance with it. Where are the visionaries ?!!!!

Corner time, free kick time, not one defending team player will go to say the halfway line allowing every opposing player to compress the defending team into a 10 yard space in front of goal, and also prevent an opportunity of a quick break, Shirley by putting just one player on the halfway line the attacking side will put two players back to cope with this ? too many players in such a small space puts doubt into the defending players of whose doing what, WBA did exactly the same when we had a corner / free kick, I'm sure there are many good reasons for this but I hate it. That's IT!!!

Er indoors one liner from Yesterday, start the root and branch clear-out with the keeper, he's a total liability and puts the eeebie jeebees into the back four.
