Sky News must have a break every 10 minutes for absolute cobblers
Anyway most of the time I have the tv on mute with sabbath blasting out so bollocks to them
I barely watch any BBC these days, listen to the odd bit of radio though.
the payment model is out of date though. I think they should just scrap the licence and fund it through general taxation

even though I rarely watch BBC I'm very glad it is there.
it has a profound effect on the rest of the broadcasting space in the UK, without the BBC setting a certain standard there would be immediately a race to the bottom in terms of content from other UK sources.
there would immediately be a change in tone of news broadcasters.
the UK's viewing consumption would immediately become more saturated with US imports.
as it is I already have to correct my kids from saying "put some gas in the car" etc from the videos they watch online
if you've ever watched much TV in France or Australia you'll see how shite it could get.
