Bagan has been getting a lot of grief. I cannot work out why. Is there a vendetta?

I don’t know about their ratings or any vendetta, and I say this as somebody who has always quite liked Bagan - I thought he was no different following his loan spell in Belgium than he was before it. I couldn’t detect any difference in his game.

I thought he seemed more assured on the ball, willing to make braver decisions rather than 'whack it up the wing' through panic.
