League 1 and 2 play offs
Interested in these as we will be playing half the clubs next season.
Today:
League 1 - Leyton Orient v Stockport kicking off now at 12.30
League 2:
Notts county v Wimbledon at 8.
I have no idea what these teams are like so will be interesting to see.

Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
25 minutes in, definitely don’t need any midfielders in this game
-
Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
Orient lead
Miles offside :hehe:

Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
Linesman must be blind
Disgusting decision

Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
Did the defender get a touch on the ball in the challenge for the header? If he didn’t, it’s maybe a worse mistake than the notorious one against Chelsea.
To answer my own question, no he didn’t. It’s a shocking mistake by the linesman.

Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
We definitely need some physicality.
It's not going to be pretty.

Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
Orient's Donley looks a good player, on loan from Spurs I believe?
We'll have to make better use of the loan market next season
-
Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
1-1 pelanty
Why wasn’t the defender booked ?
-
Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
Equaliser for Stockport from a penalty- they’ve been the better team.
-
Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
2-1 Stockport
Well deserved
-
Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
1-2
34 year old Oliver Norwood running the show
-
Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
2-1 Stockport.
Tom James on for Orient.

You say that, but Stockport's game is seemingly entirely based around Oli Norwood's quality, he's hardly a midfield bruiser

City old boy Tom James on for Orient

Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
Think Stockport are benefiting from the officials knowing they cocked up in the first half, that should have been a penalty.

Stockport could have had another one too
Looking forward to seeing these refereeing standards every week next season...

Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
Should be 3-2. Shows what putting balls into the box can do instead of tedious recycling passing it about going nowhere.

Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
Finished 2-2 - enjoyed it.

Not looking forward to the refereeing next season

Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
Those of you who watched it, would you want either Dave Challinor or Richie Wellens as our next manager based on that? (Both names have been mentioned in various quarters I believe.)

At least he had Norwood on the pitch

No.
But we could do far worse.
I'd rather both over Buckingham who is favourite. I think they'd realise the physicality we'd need.
Could do worse and I suspect we will. If I was given the choice of 1 of these 2 over who our idiots will eventually choose I'd take 1 of these 2.
As they are under contract they are ruled out I suspect.

Re: League 1 and 2 play offs
Referee was one of the top five rated in the division last season, its certainly going to be interesting if that’s the highest standard ,felt he let too much go early on and gave the impression that he was evening up the score in the second half.
