Take over Noise hampering the team?
I worry that the ongoing noise about a take over might be hampering our ability to get players in.
The boards concerns are not fully on pitch right now and it's common place for owner to block any signings while negotiations are ongoing.
We definitely need a few in and out.

They always find something to sabotage the season

It's bound to have an effect and unerve the players and the new Management team, they need to start to sort things one way or another.

Every pre-season there's another excuse with this Divy in charge

If you honestly think the players give a flip who owns the club

Didn’t mention it effecting players. It effects out ability to do business

If I were a City player, it wouldn’t unnerve me in the slightest, I’d be glad to see the back of the bloke who told goalkeepers they had to shoot more. It’s different with the manager though as new owners often want “to bring their own man in” - I hope and assume it wouldn’t happen in this case.

I know, but if the Manager is replaced, the players will be in the same position. A new Manager might fancy his old player. It's unnerving for everyone employed at the club, but it shouldn't be an excuse. They need to get on with the job in hand and do the best they can.
Re: Take over Noise hampering the team?
Whoever the new owners are, they will need the team to be in the Premier League to get any sort of return on their investment. I wouldn't worry about the team or any of the players in it if I were you.
Re: Take over Noise hampering the team?
The rumours have to be worrying for everyone involved at the club, our manager BBH most of all. Tan is unlikely to sanction the purchase of any players whilst there's a chance the club might be sold shortly. So BBH will have to manage with what he has for now, while at the same time, he must be wondering how long he'll be in post, if the club is eventually sold. You can bet anyone sinking serious cash into the club is going to want their own man in charge.
The players must be wondering the same thing - do they stick around, when a new owner might replace them? Do they take a chance, and look for a move away, or do they stay on, and hope they're a part of the new-owner revolution?
After saying all that, any new owner might be content to see how the season pans out, before making any big decisions on changing the management and players.
