Could people please offer advice about where to park for cardiff home matches? Whole family have season tickets this year.
Any good streets for on street parking?
Any views on using stadium car park or other options like Gol centre or Bessemer road market.

Lot of streets off Hadfield road or on the road itself, Bessemer road too. Just depends what time you get there how much is left available.
Never not been able to park somewhere though.
You can pay for the market or gol centre.

I’ve been trying to figure this out for decades. There is less and less parking available, as car parks get turned into housing or lose half their spaces to empty disabled spaces! It tend to park in one off the streets down by the Victoria Park walk nowadays.
It’s not just the parking. Actually getting there is getting more difficult. I was on Penarth Road this morning, behind the main railway station, and I noticed that they have reduced this to just one lane in each direction, where it passes the new station car park. So this is going to be a bottleneck, in either direction, before and after the games, especially on a Saturday afternoon. Sort of ironic, really - they built a new car park to ease the parking issues, and in doing so, create even worse traffic issues. You couldn’t make it up.
Anyway, back to the original post. There’s usually on-street parking around North Clive Street, but you have to get there reasonably early.
Depending on where you are coming from you may be better off parking at Radyr or Llandaff North and getting the train
I have had to negotiate similar leaving the ground at the other end of Sloper Road for many seasons. Coming out of the car park by the Sand Martin pub I turn right. At the third set of traffic lights (just before the rail bridge) all four roads (Sloper Road, Leckwith Road [leading to Ninian Park Road and Atlas Road / both ways plus Leckwith Road itself to Llandaf] are inaccessible due to cones. Whichever way you want to go all that is available to the driver is via Broad Street. Despite paying £171 this season for the privilege of the car park at CCFC I have to leave games early or there is one almighty hold up.Quote:

As mentioned, the roads by the old Bessemer Fruit Market are pretty reliable. Gol centre is good for it, and of course there is street parking. I know a few who park as far away ans Victoria Park and walk in via a pub or cafe.
Also as mentioned, loads of train stations have free parking and can easily get the train to Grangetown or Ninian Park. Obviously that is a bit more of a hassle in some respects, but depending where you are heading you will get away quicker potentially
We park by the casino, register the car there and have a pint in a real glass, walk to stadium for game and back .
Unfortunately they don't open early enough for midday KO.
There's a little "shopper's car park" in Canton, entrance opposite the Spoons pub. You have to pay unless you have a blue badge, and it can be a bit of a long walk.
Bessemer road, or the end of sloper road (penarth road end). Worst case hadfield road or one of the side streets off it.
Generally need to be there around 2hrs before kick off though

Some games, I park in Asda, where there is no restriction and no cameras. The downside,it can take some time to get out but at least I’m sat in the car with the heater and radio on. Also, sometimes the stewards hold the traffic to let the coaches out, much too early and there’s more of a delay.
