Q.P.R. friendly highlights and reaction
Manager reaction from Brian Barry-Murphy
“We were very pleased to have the game, and it was an excellent workout for our players. It allowed us to push the players closer to finishing games, getting 90 minutes in their legs, and for some of the other guys to get more exposure to that game time.
“It leads us nicely into Saturday, where the other members of the squad can reach the same level, and then from there on Monday it allows us to prepare for the first league game.
“I was pleased with the whole game. The application of the players was very good, a lot of the way we want to play was evident, and we created a lot of good chances throughout the game.
“Generally, I’m very pleased with the application of the players to play the way that we want to play. Naturally, we’re constantly pushing the players to improve and we always want more - that’s the nature of it. As long as the players have that same mindset, I think it’s really powerful for us all to be part of this phase.
“You always want more, and the players’ understanding of what that ‘more’ looks like is important for us, because we are a new group together - coaching staff and players alike are getting to know each other.
“There are some players who didn’t have any action today; the idea is for them to push to as close to 90 minutes as possible on Saturday, without putting them at risk. I’m really pleased for so many of the players who got through 90 minutes today.
“The following we had in Spain took me by surprise; the energy from the supporters was amazing. Now the job for us is to try and produce a team that they can be proud of, excited by, and really look forward to seeing.”

It's rubbish and the numbers need to be dark. When's the third kit out?

The maroon away kit under Bulut was probably the last good one.
