Frighteningly, AI can knock up songs to order in just a few seconds.
This is one I just 'created' whilst having two sips of my cuppa.

Yep next couple of years are going to be interesting.
I think from the consumer there will remain a demand for creativity by humans but the problem will be being able to distinguish the difference and that your automatic response to everything will be "AI"
I think music might be one of the few entertainment industries that’ll remain largely unscathed. Live music, with the original artist performing, can’t really be replicated by Al.
Look at Oasis. A band with no new music of note in nearly 30 years, yet they’ve sold millions of tickets for several hundreds of pounds.
ABBA Voyage on the other hand is a fake digital tribute to one of the biggest bands of all time, the closest thing you could ever get to seeing the real deal. But it’s held in a 3,000 capacity venue and tickets are £40.
If the real ABBA did a reunion tour I’d imagine they’d be pulling in similar numbers to Oasis.
AI is going to feck things up.
Got dragged to ABBA Voyage with the in-laws a few weeks ago. It's £80 a ticket (minimum, it goes up to £300) and it's sold out twice a day, 5 days a week, and has been for 3 years now.
Considering all they have to do is press play twice a day, I imagine the ROI is much higher than an international tour.
I did wonder a while back, with the capability of AI getting greater, is it a matter of time before every song that could be written will be already made? AI told me no, but then it would say that
According to the website tickets start at £38, but you have to go ahead to September for those prices. Although there are no shows close to being sold out in August yet.
In terms of ROI, certainly a fake hologram is cheaper than the real deal. Aren’t the Gallagher brothers getting something like £50m for this tour?
You don’t need to pay a computer to lip sync.
