Why is it that on this MB people are full of pessimism and realism, yet on social media / Lee Gwan sites, City “fans” are full of bravado and saying that we’ll piss the league and go straight back up!
I know a lot of it is wind up stuff but it really is reaching its targets with fans from other clubs!
I’d much rather underplay it in the quiet hope we can get into the top 6 (which I think we can) rather than goad every other team by shouting that we’re going to walk the league!
Because some of our fans are mouthy and braggadocious. Every team has them. I’m the same as you, I’d rather keep quiet and see what happens.
I’m 45 now mind you, I was mouthy and braggadocious when younger (and to some extent still am).

Had a look on a Peterborough forum yesterday just because I know little about them and I sometimes find it interesting to gauge how their fans are feeling.
One of them said a point as Cardiff are average. Some city fan then come on and said along the lines of sorry fella, anything but average, Salech and Robinson will smash the league. The rest of what he said wasn't bad, I've seen worse on socials but yea, I always think just keep your head down, particularly after last season. :hide:
It's going to be very hard to predict, the players and Manager seem quietly confident, I'll take that for now and hope for a good start.
Social media is full of people like that. It's why I largely avoid the cesspits
