the perils of AI

I came across a post on twitter from someone Attachment 6637
with the following image of Jonathan Panzo suggesting him as a potential signing at centre back.

I didn't recognise him initially, so I thought I'd try twitter's built in AI to give some further information.

this is the nonsense it came up with - a completely made up Wrexham player apparently.

utterly useless, but presented with as much confidence as if you'd asked it 1+1.

I then replied that it definitely wasn't a Wrexham shirt but it was adamant that it was.

Then I told it that it was a Cardiff shirt and it apologised, changed it to Cardiff and went on to make up a bunch of stuff about the imaginary player.

my work wants us to start using this shite more often, I can see that leading to big problems

I wonder how it made up the name Reece Oliver?

AI would probably improve my work performance, I regularly make stuff up and bullshit my way through the working week. If this AI thing does happen then it'll be of concern to me.....

Called hallucinations, where the ai doesn't know the answer and instead of saying that just makes shit up.

Apparently it's something getting ironed out of the newer models. I'd personally keep it in to catch out people passing stuff of as their own.
