Where were the missing senior players?
Is this list correct?
Horvath - being sold
Tsunoda - being sold or loaned
Chambers - suspended
Ng - injured
Robertson - injured
Turnbull - ?
and where would they fit in?
Chambers for Lawlor or Fish? - probably
Ng - bench
Robertson - Joel Colwill
Turnbull - bench
Re: Where were the missing senior players?
I’ve just read BBMs comments on Turnbulls discipline - not following the process.. Too late to alter my original.
Re: Where were the missing senior players?
I cant see anyone actually buying Horvarth. I reckon a loan out may be on the cards.
Re: Where were the missing senior players?
Robertso, Chambers and Ng would all improve that side.

Is Robertso a new Portuguese signing? I hope so.

Whoops. One of the perils of typing on an ipad, I guess. Two out of three ain’t bad, as the song goes.

Haha easily done. I do agree Robertson and Chambers makes us stronger, not sure about NG after last seasons poor showing.
Re: Where were the missing senior players?
He's stamping his authority on the team for sure. Let's hope Turnball takes an I'll show him approach rather than a Rashford Fyou type attitude. it wll be interesting to see the next few teams, with a new keeper, Chambers and Turnbull back in contention.

I'm not sure about Robertson either.
He had a good reputation and started well as I recall, but was poor at the back end of last season and didn't impress in pre-season.
He should be a nailed on starter and a key member of the team for years to come - but the evidence of recent months doesn't back that up!

Robertson’s performances in the warm up games did not merit selection for yesterday if he had been fit. At the end of last season, I would have been very disappointed if it emerged that he was leaving, but, at the moment, not so much.

I think NG is a player who can thrive in the blood and thunder of this league. We’ll definitely need him at some point.
But yeah he was not great last season for whatever reason

The Ng of last season is behind Kpakio at the moment but we know how good he can be. Is Kpakio an option on the wing and they both play?
