Port Vale v Cardiff City Score Predictions

With our back 4 looking a bit dodgy early doors and our new pressing style football I think they will be a few goals in this one so i,m going for :

2-2 draw

Our two wingers should get plenty of space on Vale’s wide pitch, it’s a case of, will Tanner waste it all again like Saturday, or will he make better use of it

I felt Tanner had one of his better games so far.

Maybe in the first half he didn’t put the ball in the box as often as the opportunity arose, but maybe he (and the other players) are still getting familiar with what the manager wants.

He seemed more disciplined defensively and his crossing with both feet is improving pretty much each week.

I also think about the simple pass back to Kpakio, for his goal… last season he probably would have rushed the cross and the attack would have come to nothing.

0-1 to the City on Thursday.

So, after touching the ball maybe25/30 times, he does 2 things right, as lots more people have stated, he wasted a lot of good possession

After getting the first game jitters out of our system, and with the confidence of the comeback win I'm going for 3-0 City. Yousef with a brace and Tanner.

Tanner already seems to be the fall guy for some of our fans. There’s always one who can never please some.

He did, and the stats back that up. For people to pick him out and ignore Ashford’s abject display is crazy to me.

Yep. Tanner had a good game against Peterborough. We definitely had more about us down that right hand side.

Once we went a goal down, his urgency picked up a little and he cut inside to get a shot away, but you could say the same about the rest of the forward line being more urgent once Peterborough had scored.
