I'm of the understanding that no law has been broken but there again, I never said she had. However !!!!! Her tweet history on those who have done similar and what she has said on the subject, her own tactics have boomeranged. Rules for thee but not for me springs to mind, a government minister should be setting the std. ?
I dont like Rayner because she talks the talk but thats it
She rightly slagged off tory housing policy , including the right to buy for many years
But it then emerged she bought her own council house and made a handsome profit on it !
Its that sort of complete nonsense and bull that is completely unacceptable and I hope she gets driven out along with Starmer , Reeves and the rest of them and replaced by decent labour MPs
Whilst HB is a dozy old arse I dont think this is about hating women

He's an ex forces bully used to shouting at young recruits and hates being challenged, the post is simply highlighting the hypocrisy of a senior government minister who has used Twitter to call out apposing party MP,s for tax avoidance. The hypocrisy by her is not my fault.
And then there’s the hypocrisy of the Tories calling for an investigation into Rayner’s tax affairs.
She is fair game as a senior politician - for her views, for her actions and for any hypocrisy.
But you and Heath and Sludge (very strange bedfellows!) insist there is no extra misogynistic layer to the online abuse she gets.
That is just wrong and pig-headed and an inversion of 'identity politics crap'. You are in denial and appear to be happy that way.
No, what I think is that you have legitimate and less legitimate criticism.
Legitimate criticism will focus on their policies or decisions, and we wont all agree on that, or the strength or tone it's delivered, but at least it's based on political decisions
Less legitimate is personal criticisms. Now some will argue personal issues do count - such as if someone cheats on their partner, or if they appear rude as a person. I guess that may be fair enough but its less legitimate for me. Rayner gets her fair share of that, although not as much as others IMO.
What is definitely not acceptable is any criticism based on her gender or race etc. I am pretty wise to that. As mentioned before I have called it out on here when female politicians have been called bitches, sluts etc.
I guess some people may hate Rayner cos she is female. Some people hate Johnson cos he's male and some may hate Sunak cos his parents came from India.
What you need to do is evidence the level of it though. For this to be labeled as "all about hating women" by Ninian Opinion is very incorrect in my opinion an creates a false narrative designed to detract.
Personally I don't mind Rayner. I think her labeling opponents as scum was appalling but she rightly apologised.
Bigger issue here for me is probably why she is buying a main residence hundreds of miles away from her constituents.
Sunak and his wife were scrutinised for their tax status weren't they?
If that was ok to do and I think it was ok to do in the public interest then she should be ok with scrutiny too
I think its fine to be a bulldog in politics but you have to deal with questions of your own
I think she's being hung by her own petard
