To paraphrase the infamous thread from NCB last season after 6 games- have we had an easy start?
This is said very much tongue in cheek of course. However I remember that thread that turned quite comical- but the point was in Swansea away then Leeds, Sunderland, Burnley, Middlesbrough and derby bulut was dealt a really tough hand. Derby away is a pass but apart from that it is factual to say bulut faced all 3 teams who were eventually promoted in his 6 games. Now that's not to say buluts team wouldn't also have lost v league 2 or national league teams as fairly sure we would have done.
However this season we have played 4 of the bottom 6 in our 6 games. Have we been fortunate and did the fixture computer gods owe us one after last season? However maybe they are in the bottom 6 because they have faced the mighty cardiff?!
Maybe it's both? Maybe it's neither? Guess we will see.......

All 3 away matches were tough, not many (any) will get 7 points out of 9.
Peterboro & Rotherham were both poor. Plymouth matched us until Wintle scored then they collapsed.

Don't disagree. Just thinking back to the reaction on here after the port vale game though....... lots were ready to rip it all up then!
Yet apart from 1 other point port vale have lost every game.

Luton was an excellent win. We are undefeated since BBM started in both preseason and season. In the league, only us and Arsenal have not conceded an in-play goal out of the 92 and Arsenal have played 2 games. Our GD is joint highest for goals for and lowest for goals against.
The confidence has blossomed. Stockport when we return from international break will be a great litmus as we often struggle coming back from breaks. If we can win that and keep going, I'll be on cloud nine. Right now, let's celebrate what we have right now, rather than worry about the future.
