Did he say anything about any of the other two?

Surely there's no way he's dropping to league one

Re: Omari Kellyman (Chelsea) on loan?
That would be wicked to have a promising youth prospect get a chance to gain his confidence with us.

Why not? He's played games at senior level and missed last season through injury. A League 1 loan feels about right

This is from 11 months ago, I think it’s pretty impressive that he was talking about BBM in the way he was nearly a year ago.

Si is just regurgitating what many people online said about BBM, but I will give him credit for being so strong on wanting him, because that Rochdale relegation cause many, myself included, to never fully commit to saying heÂ’s the right man, and I think thatÂ’s exactly why he hasnÂ’t got a job sooner.

I was aware of the work he was doing at Rochdale at the time and accept what you are saying to a degree, but, even if Si was talking as one of those nerds, it’s still impressive that he was saying these things just about a year ago about someone who I’d say is currently enjoying something like 99 per cent approval from City fans. Put it this way, if I’d written a blog piece along the same lines around the time we sacked Bulut, I’d be feeling pretty smug now.

I'm always amazed at how informed some people are on these things. I's never heard of BBM, didn't have a clue about him, pretty much the same with all of our signings and other teams players, Not a clue.

Barry-Murphy was discussed by ITK pundits and on this message board as an option about 4 years ago - when Neil Harris left.
He was one of about four 'names' with some traction before Vincent Tan finally decided on the right way to go!
Back then I hoped he would be appointed.
This time around I was in favour of an old lag who promoted youth (do they exist?) but that just shows I know nothing!
BBM has been just what we needed. He also appears to believe the hype less than any of us!

Don't know anything about him but if he can play 10 as well as winger then that would be great. I'm not sure anyone else could even really attempt to play a similar role to Colwill at the moment. Was interesting to hear that BBM thought of Robertson as more of a 6.

Re: Omari Kellyman (Chelsea) on loan?
Is he really worth £19m or is a creative bit of sales between the top clubs by shifting home grown talent around between themselves to keep below FFP rules?

Who?
I'm old enough to remember when a £37m transfer between to English clubs was big news.

There's a lot of trading of young players amongst premier league clubs with overinflated valuations. It's certainly to do with FFP.
Some of them will go on to become top players, hopefully we are about to loan one of them

Agree completely, he wanted a good few more too, it was still a massive gamble but it's paying off big time.

I'm old enough to remember when 100,000 was big news. In fact, because of it, Jimmy Greaves would only move when his fee was lowered to 99,999.

I saw Bill Nicholson the Spurs manager quoted many years ago saying that he set the 99,999 figure, not wanting to put the pressure on Greaves in being the first 100,000 player.
I think Brian Clough said much the same when he bought Trevor Francis saying and that his fee was 999,999.
I don't think it made much difference as they were still referred to as the first 100,000 and million pound transfer respectively.
What would they both have been worth today?
